Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr has lost the services three key players ahead of their friendly international against Canada at Lansdowne Road next Tuesday night.

Andy O'Brien (Newcastle United), Liverpool's Steve Finnan and Gary Breen (Sunderland) are all unavailable through injury.

O'Brien continues to have ankle ligament problems while Finnan needs to rest knee ligament damage. Breen also has knee complaints.

Richard Dunne is the only replacement brought into the squad. The Manchester City defender last played for the Republic in a friendly against Turkey at Lansdowne Road in September.
