Inquiry into Aras security

A Garda inquiry is under way into a security breach at Aras an Uachtarain last week. A 22 year old man, reportedly under the influence of drink, was taken to Cabra Garda station but released on Thursday night. He had been apprehended by an Army officer who answered his ring at the door. It is understood he climbed a wall, evaded armed gardai and passed electronic security devices in the grounds.
