The funeral of Farah Swaleh Noor (38), whose dismembered remains were found in the Royal Canal last March, has taken place in Dublin.
Mr Noor, a Somalian who had been living in Dublin since 1996, was buried in Glasnevin Cemetery.
Mr Noor's torso, arms and legs were found dumped in refuse bags in the Royal Canal by a man walking along the Ballybough Road.
Despite extensive searches of the area, his head was never recovered.
