Conservation group seeks help for a day

Conservation Volunteers Ireland (CVI) wants anyone who can to volunteer a day for the environment in this International Year of the Volunteer. Activities you can help with include tree-planting, woodland management, erosion control, drystone wall repairs and pond restoration. There are one-day training courses, too, for those interested in learning about conservation and the natural environment.
