Planning officers in Wicklow are expected to recommend a material contravention of the county development plan to allow for the development of a new business park.
An application for six three-storey office blocks with 6,400 parking spaces outside Wicklow town is due to come before the county council at its next meeting on February 5th. The site is zoned for agricultural use. Three-quarters of the 24 councillors in Wicklow must vote in favour of the material contravention to give it the go-ahead.
