A Sinn Fein councillor, Mr Paul Butler, has described allegations that some people mentioned in the Stonyford Orange Hall files have no political links as "a most sinister development".
"Up to this point those people contacted by the RUC are former republican prisoners or Sinn Fein representatives. However, in the last number of days it has come to our attention that an increasing number of people are being contacted who have no political connections whatsoever. Some of these people are pensioners," he said.
