A prisoner who escaped from custody while receiving hospital attention was back in prison last night after being on the run for nine days.
The 25-year-old Limerick man escaped while receiving medical attention at Mid-Western Regional Hospital on August 29th.
The inmate made his getaway after he knocked a prison officer to the ground.
