WITH work on a new town centre for Swords due to commence later this year, the long-established shopping centre run by businessman J.J. Savage is to be extended.on part of the site previously occupied by a number of small shops. The Pounds 1 million development is due to be completed in September.

Swords is one of the fastest growing areas of the country with hundreds of new houses completed in recent years and many more are planned over the next 12 months.
