JOBS MAY BE thin on the ground for architects, but at least the plaudits keep rolling in.
The masterplan for redeveloping Grangegorman as a new urban quarter in Dublin’s north inner city was highly commended at the World Architecture Festival Awards in Barcelona this month.
Designed by California-based architects Moore Ruble Yudell in association with Duffy Mitchell O’Donoghue, it was recognised in an awards category of excellence in design for future projects.
The Grangegorman masterplan was among 272 projects from around the world shortlisted for consideration at the festival.
