DEVELOPER Ray Grehan will have to prove that he owns part of his €50m Techrete site in Howth before his plan to develop 286 homes and various commercial and community units can be judged.

“Iarnród Éireann have indicated that there may be a site ownership issue in the northwest corner of the site. In order to clarify this issue and before this application can be assessed further the applicant is requested to submit documentary evidence, including folio maps, demonstrating that they have sufficient legal interest or the full consent of the adjacent landowners to develop the subject site as proposed,” said Fingal County Council in a recent letter to Grehan.

Grehan told Around The Blockhe is confident he fully owns the site. The council also wants the heights of some of the blocks reduced, design improvements, better Traveller units, and better access to the public open space.
