Chantilly, Rathmichael, Co Dublin: home on 1.75 acres sold for £1.2m

Chantilly, a five-bedroom Georgian house with 1.75 acres of garden in Rathmichael, Co Dublin, has been sold for around £1.2 million after auction by Lisney. The property on Ballybride Road includes an original coach-yard.

In Killiney, 19 Wyvern, a three-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn at auction by Gunne, which is now quoting £315,000. A three-bedroom bungalow at 38 Avondale Road, Killiney, made £282,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Dalkey, a four-bedroom detached house, Kildonan, at Ard Mhuire Park, fetched £500,000 through Lisney.

In Dun Laoghaire, Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £345,000 for 63 Sefton, an attractive modern four-bedroom house off Rochestown Avenue, following its withdrawal from auction.

A four-bedroom Edwardian house at 107 Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock, fetched £690,000 through Lisney.

Number 2 Parkside, on Temple Park Avenue, a two-bedroom mid-terraced house, fetched £302,500 through Hamilton Osborne King.

In Foxrock, Woodbourne, at 147 Foxrock Park, a four-bedroom detached house, fetched £400,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Cabinteely, two two-bed cottages on the Old Bray Road were auctioned by Keane Mahony Smith: Trust Cottage sold after auction while St Martin's was withdrawn and is on offer at £198,000.

A three-bedroom bungalow at Ballymaice, Bohernabreena, was withdrawn by J P & M Doyle, which is now quoting £265,000.

In Dundrum, Westerton Lodge, Ballinteer Road, a four-bedroom cut-stone house was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Ganly Walters.

Dublin 2 and 4

In Dublin 2, a one-bedroom apartment at 12 South Anne Street, was sold at auction for £181,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

A two-bedroom terraced house at 5 Holles Row was sold at auction for £167,500 by Sherry FitzGerald.

A three-bedroom townhouse at 5 Lansdowne Square, Ballsbridge, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £455,000.

Bennetts secured £422,000 at auction for 81 Sandymount Avenue, a four-bedroom semi-detached house.

Also in Sandymount, 13 Tritonville Avenue, a two-bedroom terraced house fetched £290,000 through Ross McParland.

A two-bedroom semi-detached house at 22 Londonbridge Road was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £290,000.

Dublin 6 and 8

IN Rathgar, an Edwardian five-bedroom house at 79 Highfield Road, Rathgar, was sold at auction for £1,195,000 through Lisney.

A four-bedroom end-of-terrace house, Rockfleet, at 6 Winton Avenue, Rathgar, made £490,000 by Gunne.

Still in Rathgar, 57 Rathgar Avenue, a four-bedroom semi was withdrawn at £460,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Douglas Newman Good.

A three-bedroom mews house, Bushes Lane, at the rear of 77 Kenilworth Square, Rathgar, fetched £275,000 through Lisney.

A mews site at 5 Spire View Lane, Rathgar, Dublin 6, fetched £199,000 through Gunne.

In Rathmines, a three-storey Victorian five-bedroom house at 72 Cowper Road, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £595,000.

In Terenure, 7 Fortfield Park, a four-bedroom semi made £394,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

A three-bedroom terraced house at 42 Rugby Road, Ranelagh, fetched £153,000 through Christies.

Also in Ranelagh, Littleton, 2a Ashfield Road, a three-bedroom semi-detached cottage fetched £365,000 through J.P. & M. Doyle.

In Kilmainham, Dublin 8, 17 Brookfield Road, a two-bedroom terraced house was withdrawn at £132,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Michael Byrne Estates.

Also in Dublin 8, 61 St Alban's Road, South Circular Road, a two-bedroom terraced house was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.

North Dublin

A THREE-BEDROOM semi-detached bungalow at 42 The Demesne, Killester, Dublin 5, fetched £222,500 through Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom mid-terraced house at 21 Vernon Avenue, Clontarf, made £361,000 through Hamilton Osborne King.

Elsewhere in Clontarf, 2 Fortview Avenue, a three-bedroom mid-terraced house was withdrawn at £225,000 and sold later by Douglas Newman Good.

In Glasnevin, 44 Iona Villas, a three-bedroom semi-detached house fetched £252,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

Also in Glasnevin, 46 Marguerite Road, a four-bedroom terraced house was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £268,000.

A two-bedroom townhouse at 44 Elizabeth Street, Drumcondra, was withdrawn at £102,500 and sold later for a higher figure through Martin Auctioneers.

Also in Drumcondra, the same agent sold 96 Calderwood Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, at auction for £265,000.

Sherry FitzGerald is quoting £265,000 for 63 Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, a four-bedroom semi-detached house following its withdrawal from auction.

In Phibsboro, Dublin 7, 19 Rathdown Road, a four-bedroom terraced house was withdrawn at £300,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Douglas Newman Good.

Still in Phibsboro, 35 Geraldine Street, a two-bedroom mid-terrace house achieved £133,500 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, 39 Deerpark Road, a four-bedroom detached house was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald which is quoting £635,000.

In Bray, Wendor, Strand Road, a six-bedroom terraced house overlooking the sea was withdrawn at £260,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Enniskerry, The Falls, Ballyman Road, a three-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £310,000.

In Greystones, Nirvana, on Burnaby Road, a five-bedroom period house was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops McCabe which is quoting £700,000.

Lisney is seeking £515,000 for Oaklawn, Templecarrig, Delgany, a four-bedroom bungalow on 2.25 acres following its withdrawal from auction.

A two-bedroom cottage at 43 Coolnaskeagh, Templecarrig, Greystones, was sold at auction for £202,000 through Ross McParland.

In Brittas Bay, Mermaid Cottage, a four-bedroom cottage on half an acre was withdrawn at auction by Toole & McKay who are now quoting £325,000.

In Woodenbridge, Co Wicklow, Glenart a gatelodge on one acre fetched £142,000 through Harrington Lait.

Provincial

The home of Riverdance producers, John McColgan and Moya Doherty, Loughlinstown House, Kilbride, Co Meath, was sold at auction for £1.13 million through Jackson-Stops McCabe. The six bedroom house stands on 16 acres.

In Co Kildare, The Tramway House, Poulaphouca, was sold at auction for £336,000 through Jordan Auctioneers.

Also in Co Kildare, a seven-bedroom house on an acre, Cnoc an Ti, at Pitchfordstown, Kilcock, was withdrawn at £250,000 and is under negotiation through Keane Mahony Smith.

In Co Galway, a city-centre townhouse at 27 Upper Abbeygate Street, Galway, was sold at auction for £267,000 through O'Donnellan & Joyce.

Commercial

In Clontarf, Dublin 3, three acres of residential building land at Redcourt, Clontarf, fetched a record £7.6 million through Lisney.

In Killiney, Co Dublin, Lisney has sold the Grove Nursing Home on Killiney Hill Road for a price believed to be in the region of £2.2 million.

In Dublin 8, The Millennium Bar, at 4-5 Parkgate Street was sold at auction for £980,000 by Gunne.

In Dublin 2, 12a Wexford Street, a retail investment property was withdrawn by Ganly Walters which is quoting £290,000.

In Dublin 12, a shop premises at 29 Sundrive Road, Kimmage, was withdrawn by Ganly Walters which is quoting £195,000.

In Shankill, a site with planning permission for eight houses was withdrawn by Hooke & MacDonald, which is quoting £675,000.

Finnegan Menton is seeking £675,000-plus for Unit €4, Three Rock Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate following its withdrawal from auction.

In Athboy, Co Meath, a development site with planning permission for 20 houses was sold at auction for £645,000 through T.E. Potterton.

Matt Dunne & Associates fetched £410,000 at auction for McEvoys public house in Abbeyleix.

In Kilkenny, The Fox and Goose public house on two acres at Dublin Road was withdrawn at £475,000 and sold after auction for a higher figure through Colm McEvoy.

In Co Galway, Kynes Central Tavern, at Loughgeorge, Claregalway, was withdrawn at £1.9 million and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Kilkenny, The Model School, Castlecomer Road, a four-bedroom schoolhouse with a 1.5 acre development site was sold at auction for £640,000 through Sothern.
