Christie’s March 14th and 15th: The George Michael Collection
The sale raised in excess of €13 million for the late singer’s philanthropic work, from bidders in 52 countries. Michael Craig Martin’s portrait of the singer achieved £175,000 (reserve £40,000–£60,000).
