Wilson Hartnell Public Relations has appointed Mr Fergus Finlay as head of its new public affairs unit and has also appointed former AIB director, Dr Dermot Egan, as a non-executive director. Mr Finlay has been working with the group as a consultant. Mr Finlay was an adviser to the former leader of the Labour Party, Mr Dick Spring, between 1983 and 1997 and was deputy press secretary during the 1983-87 coalition government.
