Havok buys game engine provider

Irish technology company Havok has acquired 3D game engine provider Trinigy for an undisclosed sum.

Irish technology company Havok has acquired 3D game engine provider Trinigy for an undisclosed sum.

Trinigy, a privately owned German company which employs 30 people, has worked in collaboration with Havok for a number of years.

Following the acquisition, Havok’s technology portfolio will include a full line of production tools including rendering capabilities.

Founded in 1988, Havok and was acquired by Intel in 2007.
