Mr Paul McCann has been appointed corporate finance director with accountancy firm Grant Thornton. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and later worked with Chase Manhattan Bank and Bankers Trust in Sydney, Australia. He joined Grant Thornton last year.

Performix Technologies, specialists in solutions for the international contact centre market, has made three appointments to its European management team. Mr Dermot Walsh has been made sales director for Ireland and Britain, Ms Rosemary Turley is group marketing manager, and Ms Sinead Creane has been appointed group HR manager.

Vision Consulting, the international e-business and technology company, has appointed Mr Jim McLoughlin as group finance director. He was previously finance director of the Jones Group. Mr Patrick Doody has been appointed sales director with C&C Wholesale, with responsibility for developing its drinks portfolio. He joins the company after 12 years with Cantrell & Cochrane in Northern Ireland.
