The five executive directors of the Jurys Doyle Group received total remuneration of £921,000 (€1,169,430) last year, an average of almost £185,000 each. The five are all directors of the former Jurys Hotel Group before it acquired Doyle Hotels and was renamed Jurys Doyle Group. No Doyle executives are executive directors in the merged group.
The combined £921,000 remuneration compares with £698,000 the previous year. The £921,000 comprises salaries and other emoluments totalling £549,000, annual incentives of £235,000, pension payments of £109,000 and benefits in kind of £28,000.
The annual report shows that Vincent & Beatty, the solicitors firm in which Jurys chairman Mr Walter Beatty is a partner, received fees last year totalling £715,000. Drury Communications, the public relations firm chaired by Jurys non-executive director Mr David Kennedy, received fees of £77,000.
