Additional licences have been acquired by Ivernia West and its partner, Minorco, adjacent to their Lisheen mine and Arcon International's Galmoy mine on the Rathdowney trend which straddles Tipperary and Kilkenny. Ivernia/Minorco announced yesterday that their joint venture was awarded Prospecting Licence 1650, which hosts the Derrykearn zinc/lead prospect, at Rathdowney North, Co Kilkenny.
