AIB Group Treasury wins top award

AIB Group Treasury has won the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT) award for top financial institution for 1998.

Bank of Ireland Group Treasury was the runner-up in this category, followed by Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP).

The corporate dealer of the year award went to Mr Brian Kelleher of AIB while Mr John Moclair of BNP and Mr Mick Purcell of AIB were runners-up in this category.

In the money markets category, Mr Des Leavy of Ulster Bank and Ms Karen Hanlon of Irish Intercontinental Bank were declared joint winners.

Mr Brian Kelleher also won the foreign exchange dealing and derivatives awards while Mr John Moclair won the award for customer services.
