Ruby Walsh is unstoppable these days and the 19-year-old continued his rich vein of form at Down Royal on Saturday when completing a double with Tuska Ridge and Dromineer. This brought his seasonal score to 28, nine clear of nearest rival Paul Carberry in the championship race.

After Tuska Ridge, carrying the colours of Portadown building contractor Stephen McConville, provided Frances Crowley with her first success at the northern venue, the Kill-born rider went on to record a smooth 15 length success on market leader Dromineer in the Beginners' Chase.

David McCabe, whose brother Pat was victorious earlier in the Cesarewitch at the Curragh, landed the Rathasker Stud Nursery aboard Lucky Player.
