Gaelic Games Round-up/Camogie: Kilkenny claimed the first camogie All-Ireland title of 2005 when they won their fourth All-Ireland minor title, defeating Tipperary 4-7 to 2-7 in Parnell Park yesterday.

Two goals within two minutes from Katie Power and Edwina Keane, however, gave the Black and Amber side a half-time lead of 2-6 to 1-3.

Further goals from player-of-the-match Katie Power and full forward Noelle Corrigan secured victory for last year's beaten finalists.

Offaly edged out Armagh 2-14 to 3-9 in the minor B decider, to bring the first All-Ireland camogie title to the Faithful county.

TOMMY MURPHY CUP: Even without the recently departed Val Daly at the helm, Roscommon easily accounted for the challenge of London, in a dour quarter-final at Hyde Park on Saturday, winning by 0-17 to 0-8,

Daly stepped down as manager after a poor training turn-out earlier in the week. Under a temporary team management under Donie Shine, the home side were always in control.

Old hands Stephen Lohan and Ger Heneghan hit 13 points between them, while teenage debutants James Callery and John Collins also got on the scoresheet.

ALL-IRELAND INTERMEDIATE HC: A goal by substitute Trevor Kavanagh in the third minute of injury-time helped to give Galway a shock 1-15 to 0-14 win over Cork, who were going for a third All-Ireland Intermediate title in a row, in a thrilling semi-final at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday.
