Madam, - It is unbelievable that the OPW intends to install oil-fired central heating for new Government offices in Buncrana, Co Donegal.
Donegal VEC, with the co-operation of our community group and Greenbelt Forestry, installed a fully-automated wood fuel system last year at Abbey Vocational School (1,000 students). This uses readily available local forest waste.
Several large hotels, leisure and conference centres in the county have since followed suit.
