Madam, - The deliberate bombing by the IDF of defenceless convoys carrying men, women and children is an outrage and a war crime. Our Government should stand up and say so. A nation and its people are not defined by economic prosperity alone.
Witness also the unnecessary suffering in places such as Iraq and Darfur which the international community is doing nothing to prevent.

Madam, - US President George Bush vetoed the Bill that would have allowed federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, saying: "This Bill would support the taking of innocent human life in the hope of finding medical benefits for others".
