Sir, - Your issue of Good Friday included a letter from Fathers Des Wilson and Joe McVeigh. They were protesting against the attendance of Archbishop Sean Brady at a function to acknowledge the RUC casualties during the Troubles. I find it odd to see two Christian clergymen disseminating disaffection on a Good Friday, of all days, and on the second anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement in particular.
May I invite the attention of Frs Wilson and McVeigh to the introduction to that historic document? It reads: "We are committed to partnership, equality and mutual respect on the basis of relationships within Northern Ireland; between north and south and between these islands." - Yours, etc.
