A group of shop stewards representing more than 1,300 craft-workers yesterday called on the State's craft-workers to vote Yes to a Labour Court recommendation. They say the productivity changes suggested in the recommendation would strengthen job security.
The shop stewards are Mr Martin Malone and Mr Austin O'Leary (Dublin Corporation); Mr Dick Winters (Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council); Mr Brendan O'Brien, (South Dublin County Council); and Mr Richie Doyle (National Rehabilitation Centre).
