Ankara - Turkey issued a "last warning" to Syria yesterday over what it calls Damascus's backing of Kurdish separatist rebels and cancelled all leave for troops guarding the two countries' frontier.
The warning came shortly before the Egyptian President, Mr Hosni Mubarak, arrived in Ankara to tackle a dispute that could have serious implications for the whole Middle East.
