A truck driver was killed in a road crash in south Co Kilkenny this evening.
The man died when the livestock truck he was driving overturned about 2km from the village of Mooncoin on the Waterford to Carrick-on-Suir road.
He died at the scene and was the only occupant of the truck. No other vehicle was involved in the accident which took place after 4.15pm.
The road remains blocked with diversions in place.
