Three hospitalised in NI stabbings

Three men have been taken to hospital following a stabbing incident at a house in Newry, Co Down this morning.

Three men have been taken to hospital following a stabbing incident at a house in Newry, Co Down this morning.

Two of the men, aged 47 and 24, suffered stab wounds to their abdomen while the other man, also aged 24, received a slash wound to the face.

None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the incident happened after a fight broke out at a house in the Drumgullion Avenue area of the town shortly before 5am.

Two men, aged 34 and 43, have been arrested for attempted murder.
