The number of skilled workers seeking jobs via the Internet has doubled since last year, according to a new report.
One in three jobseekers with qualifications now go online to check vacancies, a survey of 600 adults showed.
Employment group Reed, which did the research, said its online recruitment site, reed.co.uk, was now attracting more than half a million "hits" a month.
Company founder Mr James Reed said new technology was "transforming the world of recruitment".
