Dublin Bus: No services today. A resumption of work expected tomorrow and to continue over the weekend. The strike is expected to resume on Monday for four days if no settlement is achieved in the meantime.
Bus Eireann: Resumption of full services expected today. However members of the public should contact their local bus depot before setting out. The number for Dublin is 836 6111.
Iarnrod Eireann: The situation remained unclear last night. DART services may resume this morning. There may be a limited service on routes which provided limited services yesterday, such as Dublin-Belfast, Dublin-Kilkenny, Dublin-Mullingar, Dublin-Sligo and Dublin-Greystones.
However much will depend on the attitude of the permanent way crews and whether or not they continue to mount pickets in defiance of a High Court injunction.
