The Road Safety Authority yesterday enlisted Rose of Tralee Aoife Kelly to launch its ‘‘He Drives, She Dies’’ campaign.

The campaign is aimed at persuading young women not to get into a car with a man who drives dangerously.

Ms Kelly works as an occupational therapist at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin.

She helps patients with serious injuries such as spinal injuries.

Many of these injuries have been sustained in car crashes.
