Post-mortem due on body found in Co Down

The body of a man in his mid-thirties was discovered in his home in Castlewellan, Co Down, today.

The body of a man in his mid-thirties was discovered in his home in Castlewellan, Co Down, today.

A police spokesman said a colleague discovered the man when he called to his Commedagh Park home at 7.10 a.m. this morning.

A post-mortem was expected to be carried out tomorrow, the spokesman said.

Police in Northern Ireland are also investigating the death of another man whose body was found in Downpatrick around lunchtime today. He was also in his mid-thirties.
