Ed Dunlop landed a fantastic one-two in the Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks at the Curragh today with Lailani just getting the better of stable-mate Mot Juste.

The winner was produced late by Frankie Dettori to collar Mot Juste inside the last 100 yards and battle her way to the Group One prize.

Chamela Bay had set a searching gallop but was a spent force when headed by Mot Juste (8-1) inside the two furlong marker.

Richard Hughes` mount, however, was shadowed by Lailani (5-1) - who found that little bit extra when asked for her effort by Dettori inside the final furlong.

Aidan O`Brien`s number one hope, Karsavina (9-1), ran on for third while the Ballydoyle trainer also got the fourth with Sequoyah.

Lailani, backed down from 7-1, ended up second-favourite behind Relish Relish The Thought (4-1), who was unplaced.
