Speaking to reporters after the opening of a Family Resource centre in Dublin's North inner city, Mr Ahern said he had nothing to add to the party officers' report.
The Taoiseach said voting Ms Cooper-Flynn back into the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party after last night's expulsion was "a matter for a lot of thinking".
Ms Cooper-Flynn was expelled from the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party last night after Mr Ahern insisted her continued presence was damaging and she had to go now.
After a four-hour debate Fianna Fáil party members voted overwhelmingly to expel Ms Cooper-Flynn from the parliamentary party.
