Gardaí are questioning a man in connection with an armed robbery in a Dublin car park.
The 28-year-old was arrested early this morning in the city centre on suspicion of carrying out the raid with another man.
Two staff members were tied up and assaulted during the robbery in the car park on Mercer Street, near St Stephen's Green shopping centre, at noon yesterday. It is understood almost €60,000 was stolen.
The two raiders fled in a Northern Ireland-registered black saloon car, believed to be an Audi A4.
The man is being held at Harcourt Terrace Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, where he can be detained for 72 hours.
