A 43-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman in east Belfast last weekend.
Mr Ian Surgeon of Dundonald pleaded not guilty to the charge. On Saturday the body of Nellie Cowan (51) found discovered in a house on the Woodstock Rd.
The defendant was remanded in custody to appear in court again on October 14th.
