THE leading north Belfast loyalist, Mr Tommy Steart, was killed in connection with a dispute over £9,000, it was claimed yesterday. Police are questioning a man and a woman about the killing, writes Suzanne Breen.

Mr Stewart (32), a father of two, was shot dead in the Ballysillan area on Tuesday. ,Loyalist sources link the death of the former UVF man to an incident earlier this year when shots were fired at another loyalist in a row over money.
