Gardai in Limerick are looking for up to four people who assaulted a Limerick GAA footballer, Mr Brian Geary, early on Sunday morning, writes Eibhir Mulqueen.
Mr Geary, a member of the under-21 county football team and a University of Limerick student, received 28 stitches to his face, after he was attacked with a knife on Ellen Street in the city centre.
