Gardai investigating a fire at a Dublin city-centre pub early yesterday morning have concluded it was accidental. Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade fought the blaze at Doolan's Bar, Hogan Place, near Holles Street.

Firefighters were at the scene for a number of hours and serious damage was caused to the premises. Four adults and a child sleeping above the pub escaped unharmed.
