If you're interested in finding out more about courses offered by NUI Galway (formerly UCG), Mary Coyle, the college's new schools' liaison officer is the person to contact. A graduate of the university, Coyle comes to the position via secondary teaching - at Old Bawn Community School, Tallaght, Co Dublin - and project administration at NUI Galway's Open Learning Centre. She is the first schools liaison officer to be appointed by the college. Her job will include keeping in close contact with second-level students and their career guidance counsellors to inform them of the university's programmes and organising the NUI Galway Open Day.
