A file is to be sent to the DPP in connection with the seizure in Cork over the weekend of 1,000 ecstasy tablets with a street value of £10,000.
The tablets were seized at an address in the Rochestown area of the city and a man who was questioned at Togher Garda station on Sunday was released without charge. Gardai in Cork have also appealed for witnesses to an incident in the Douglas area during which a Garda motorcycle was rammed by a car.
