Dublin city and county are to get 300 new jobs in three different projects, to be announced today by the Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Ms Harney.

In the biggest development, Lexington International - a company manufacturing printers - is expanding its operations here by employing 110 people at a facility in the Eastpoint complex in Clontarf.

Another 100 jobs are being created in Saggart, Co Dublin, where a company called RAND is to set up a European services centre for its software business.

Finally, the adhesive manufacturers Loctite is also expanding its Irish operations, and will employ an additional 70 staff at a facility in Tallaght, to develop new products.
