Back from their successful three-week tour of the UK, the talented young dancers of Ballet Ireland (right) bring their Extravaganza 2000: Millennium Fireworks to Sligo, Monaghan and Tallaght in Dublin.
They will perform extracts from three of the great Tchaikovsky ballets: Swan Lake, Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as ballets set to the music of Schubert, Grieg, Rossini, Mahler and Offenbach.
Don't miss this chance to see them, not only because they are presenting a thoroughly enjoyable show, but also because the inadequate funding given by the Arts Council to what is our only fully professional ballet company threatens their future and this chance could be the last.
