A man has been arrested in Laois after gardaí seized cannabis hearb with an estimated value of €100,000 yesterday.
The drugs, along with other items gardaí said were made and adapted for the growth and cultivation of cannabis, following a planned search of a premises in Portarlington.
A 31-year-old was arrested at scene and he is currently detained at Portlaoise Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, a Garda spokesman said.
