The chairman of Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Mr Patrick Ridge, has been reappointed for a further three years by the Minister for the Marine, Mr Fahey. Mr Ridge was first appointed by the previous government in June 1997. The post carries a salary in excess of £60,000 a year plus expenses.
