London - A British aid worker held hostage in Chechnya was raped repeatedly over several months by a masked gunman while her partner was chained in a nearby room, she said yesterday.
Ms Camilla Carr (40) said her captors beat her companion, Mr Jon James (38), threatened to cut off his fingers, to put him in a cage with tarantulas and psychologically tortured them with a mock execution.
