Two women were last night being questioned by gardai in Galway in relation to the murder last month of Mr Tom Casey, in Oranmore.
The women, aged 54 and 21, had been arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, on Tuesday evening. Their detention was extended last night for a further 24 hours.
Casey (68), was found dead in his home, where he lived alone, on January 23rd.
