The shortage of zoned commercial land in Galway city has pushed prices up over the past few years. The forthcoming sale of 7.11 acres at Ballybrit is expected to give a good indication of current values when joint agents Smith and Company and Mulryan Auctioneers launch the marketing campaign. The land is likely to make more than £450,000 (€571,382) an acre.

The parcel of land is for sale in one or three individual lots and is located a short distance off the Ballybrit roundabout along the Eastern Approach Road. There is 164 ft of frontage on to the link road to the industrial park.
