Exclusive seaside homes from Eur 1.45m

Greystones: Millionaire bungalows overlooking the sea at Greystones, Co Wicklow go on sale with Jackson-Stops this weekend.

Prices start at €1.45 million at North Shore, an exclusive development of 418 sq m (4,500 sq ft) five-bedroom bungalows, each on two-thirds to three-quarter acre plots.

The final six bungalows are now on the market, out of a total of 13 on the North Shore site, which has a private gated entrance off the Bray/Greystones Road. Buyers so far are mainly young professionals with families. The houses are elevated high above the North Beach, with pedestrian access to the shore via a railway crossing. From here, it's a pleasant stroll of less than a mile to the harbour.

A subsidiary of the J Wood group, developer Elmbawn has opted for a high quality spec in keeping with the price level of these luxurious bungalows. Exteriors have the look of a Florida villa, with their tall arched windows and low roof lines.

With such space to play with, rooms are large and high ceilings add to the feeling of space. Little has been spared in the interior fit-out and allowances for tiling are exceptionally generous.
