Twenty years after kicking off his DJ-ing career at an after-hours bar in Ibiza, Steve Bug is still coming on strong. The DJ and producer from Bremen is probably best known for his label exploits – imprints such as Raw Elements, Poker Flat, Dessous and Audiomatique have benefited from his input.

The still fresh Poker Flat is the key label associated with Bug down through the years, having provided a home from home for such minimal and tech-house heavyweights as Clé, Matthias Tanzmann, DJ T, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Donnacha Costello, John Tejada and dozens more over the years.

When not taking care of label business, Bug’s own productions have also lit up many dancefloors: mixes such as the Bugnology series and releases for Cocoon, Fabric and Fuse spread the word about his DJ-ing smarts.
