Cooler Than Meby Mike Posner: you might recognise this track as the one Cher Lloyd croaked her way through on last week's X Factor(Gamu, we love you). You might also recognise this track as the hottest new thing to come out of the US since the Florida sun. Our pal Mike sings of a girl (or a boy – the Corner's open-minded) who wears designer shades "just to cover their face". Surely that's kind of the point? Either way, we've listened to this about a million times today so far, and heart it big time.

Plans for Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s wedding are a go-go! However, it seems there may be a conflict of interests. Says Russ of the nuptials: “It’s no more interesting or no less spectacular than any marriage of anybody, so it’s very beautiful and incredible and wonderful, but it’s also utterly mundane.” However, the duo have just sent out their white embossed invitations to guests and asked them to keep a week in October free. The invites apparently read: “Meet you in Delhi in October. Dates to follow. Please allow seven days for this event.” A week-long party! That’s not exactly mundane, is it Russ?

Rowling revealed to Oprah Winfrey that Michael Jackson had requested to do a musical based on the Harry Potter series. Like a chump, she said no. Come on, JK, what about The Man in the Mirror(of Erised)?

In a bizarre twist, JLS band member, Oritsé Williams, has confessed that he only uses his own face-branded JLS “Just Love Safe” condoms. “We were all given packets of each other’s. It’s not like their faces are on the actual condoms, but I still prefer to use my own,” Williams said. We’re beyond creeped out by this. Bieber, don’t be getting any ideas.
